Q: Is The Dogmother insured?
A: We are fully insured and so are our walkers. Everyone is up to date with their St. John’s Ambulance Pet First Aid and have their dog walking license.
Q: What is included in a Dog Walk?
A: Walks are 30-60 Mins with pick up and drop off and dogs are expected to be out of the house for about 1-2 hours. This is a group nature walk where your dog is able to engage with other dogs, play, exercise and enhance their wellbeing.
Q: My Dog isn’t very social can they still get a walk?
A: Yes. We offer private walks for dogs that need to be walked one-on-one or need a stress-free experience.
Q: How many Dogs are in each group?
A: Maximum 6 dogs per group, with our group walks usually being 3-4 Dogs.
Q: Are there requirements for group walks?
A: Yes. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, be at least 6 months old and be spayed or neutered. We also require dogs to have an identification tag with the dog's emergency contact information.
Q: What is included in a Cat/Puppy Visit?
A: Visits at our client’s homes are approximately 30 Minutes. These visits are to feed/potty/litter, play, engage and bond with your pet.
Q: Will my Dog have the same walker every time?
A: Yes. One of our walkers will be assigned to your dog(s) and we try to keep the same pack of dogs on every walk. We also offer a back-up walker in case your walker is away, your dog will not be left without his/her walk!
